ADHD Parenting Help
I’m Vivian, the founder of ADHD Support Australia.
You’re probably here because you have a child or children with challenging behaviours, ADHD (or suspected ADHD), and you’re looking for guidance and support to help bring out the best in them.
You may be feeling overwhelmed, confused, or isolated. Life may seem chaotic or out of control.
I can help.
I offer two online courses that provide a solid foundation for understanding ADHD and navigating family life more confidently.
Both courses include the same core content. The Interactive version also includes six weekly one-hour group Zoom calls and access to a private Facebook group for additional support.
These courses are suitable for parents and carers of both children and teens with ADHD. They’re also valuable for teachers or anyone seeking a better understanding of children with ADHD.
The goal is to inform and empower you to work collaboratively with your child using practical strategies that make a real difference in your daily lives.
ADHD is not caused by poor parenting.
But specific ADHD parent training can significantly improve your child’s symptoms, reduce your stress, and create a calmer, more connected family life. This course offers that training.
The more informed you are about ADHD and what works, the easier it becomes to shift your perspective and build a positive relationship with your child.
Your awareness and mindset truly can influence your child’s behaviour, confidence, and quality of life—for them and for your whole family.

How will this parenting course help me?
This course has been specifically developed for parents of children with ADHD. Its goal is to help you better understand your child and support them more effectively, while reducing stress and creating stronger family relationships.
In the Interactive course, sharing your experiences with other parents helps foster a sense of connection and community. Many parents find the peer support one of the most valuable aspects of the course.
You’ll gain knowledge to work with your child to manage ADHD-related challenges while championing their strengths. You’ll learn:
- How to build self-esteem through encouraging a growth mindset
- How to solve problems collaboratively and proactively
- Practical parenting strategies that lead to better routines and relationships at home
- The importance of self-care
- How to optimise sleep
- Better understanding of medications and treatments
- How to advocate effectively at school
The Interactive version gives you time each week to connect with other parents and with me. Each session is a safe, supportive space to reflect on your parenting, share stories, ask questions, and test new approaches.
The Start Anytime course is fully self-paced and can be started whenever suits you. It includes the full content but does not include the live calls or Facebook group.

About Me

I’m Vivian, the founder and organiser of ADHD Support Australia, established in 2013. I began facilitating the Parenting Children with ADHD course in person in 2015 and launched the online version in 2019 to make it accessible to more families.
I’m an ADDCA-trained ADHD Coach, certified PEERS Social Skills provider for teens and young adults, Certified Digital Health Educator with the NIDHW, Certified NeuroACT provider, qualified teacher, Mental Health First Aider, Lifeline Accidental Counsellor, and former Raise mentor. Most importantly, I’m an experienced ADHD mum and was recently diagnosed with ADHD myself.
I’ve spent the past 26 years raising and supporting my daughter through childhood, adolescence, and now young adulthood. Along the way, we’ve faced ADHD, anxiety, learning difficulties, gut issues, coeliac disease, chronic fatigue syndrome, and more.
My experience includes both conventional and holistic approaches. I draw on lived experience, my own research, over 130 expert talks I’ve hosted, and formal training—including advanced workshops such as Dr Ross Greene’s Collaborative & Proactive Solutions course.
This course reflects everything I’ve learned and continue to learn, and it’s designed to support you on your own parenting journey.
